SQL Formatter

Format SQL queries with consistent indentation and upper-case keywords, per dialect.

Formatted SQL

What it does

Queries are broken into one clause per line, column lists and conditions are indented, and keywords are upper-cased, which makes long generated or logged queries readable again.

Dialects

Pick the dialect your query is written in — PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server or BigQuery — so its specific syntax (quoted identifiers, operators, placeholders) is recognised.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you paste is sent to a server, so payloads with customer data or credentials stay on your machine. Large inputs of several megabytes are processed once you stop typing, without freezing the page.
