Exact error position
When the text is not valid JSON, the validator shows the parser message along with the line and column where the grammar breaks, and “Go to error” selects that character in the input.
Common mistakes
Trailing commas, single quotes, unquoted keys, comments and stray characters copied from a log line are all rejected by the strict JSON grammar.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you paste is sent to a server, so payloads with customer data or credentials stay on your machine. Large inputs of several megabytes are processed once you stop typing, without freezing the page.
