JSON to CSV Converter
Turn a JSON array into a CSV file, with nested keys flattened into columns.
Part of developer tools.
How nested JSON becomes columns
Each object in the array becomes one row. Nested objects and arrays are flattened into dotted column names — {"user":{"name":"Ann"}} gives a user.name column, and the second item of a list lands in tags.1. Columns are the union of every key seen, so an object missing a field simply leaves that cell empty.
Delimiters and quoting
Pick a comma, semicolon (what spreadsheets in many European locales expect), tab or pipe. Values containing the delimiter, quotes or line breaks are quoted the RFC 4180 way, so the file opens cleanly in Excel, Numbers or LibreOffice.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you paste is sent to a server, so payloads with customer data or credentials stay on your machine. Large inputs of several megabytes are processed once you stop typing, without freezing the page.
