Why convert JSON to YAML
YAML is the format of Kubernetes manifests, GitHub Actions, Docker Compose and most CI configs. Pasting an API response or a JSON config here gives you the same data as readable YAML, with strings quoted only where YAML needs it.
Indentation
Two spaces is the usual convention for YAML; four is available for teams that prefer it. YAML has no minified form, since indentation carries its structure.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you paste is sent to a server, so payloads with customer data or credentials stay on your machine. Large inputs of several megabytes are processed once you stop typing, without freezing the page.
