The math
4:3 is 1.33:1: the width is 4/3 times the height. To get a height from a width, multiply by 3 and divide by 4 — 1024 × 3 ÷ 4 = 768. That is the 1024×768 in the table. The calculator above does the same for any width or height, and gives the ratio of any size in the other mode.
Other aspect ratios
