3:2 aspect ratio
The frame of 35 mm film, kept by most DSLR and mirrorless sensors, and chosen by some laptops for the extra height over 16:9. 5 common sizes from 1080×720 to 6000×4000, each checked to reduce to 3:2.

The math
3:2 is 1.5:1: the width is 3/2 times the height. To get a height from a width, multiply by 2 and divide by 3 — 2160 × 2 ÷ 3 = 1440. That is the 2160×1440 in the table. The calculator above does the same for any width or height, and gives the ratio of any size in the other mode.
