The math
16:10 is 1.6:1: the width is 16/10 times the height. To get a height from a width, multiply by 10 and divide by 16 — 1920 × 10 ÷ 16 = 1200. That is the 1920×1200 in the table. The calculator above does the same for any width or height, and gives the ratio of any size in the other mode.
